The view from here (cont'd, cont'd)

Sarah was planning a pre-dawn assault on Hooker Lake. The 'Jack alarm' went at 6 and the mission was aborted due to cloud cover (sounds like a Tom Clancy novel I know - but i'm bored).

It started snowing at about 7 and still is, though it is pretty much rain now. I love being in the snow as do the kids - until the realize how cold they are.

I must say that I can't think of a better place in NZ to be while it is snowing than at The Hermitage - pity about the shooting though - that's not looking promising!
